Posted by:  Ensemble Arts Philly on March 25, 2024

The well-acclaimed Broadway musical Disney’s FROZEN made its Philadelphia debut on Thursday, March 21st at the Academy of Music. What better place to have a story about familial love than right here in the City of Brotherly Love? From a creative team that has won a cumulative 16 Tony Awards, this show is an unforgettable theatrical experience for all to enjoy. If you’re still unsure about seeing it, or just looking for something to do this spring, here are the top 3 reasons to see Disney’s FROZEN:

1. See your favorite characters on stage.

Experience the magic of the fictitious city of Arendelle, home to the quirky and lovable Princess Anna and her aloof and misunderstood sister, Elsa. This beautiful narrative comes to life on stage with unforgettable special effects, stunning sets and costumes, and powerful performances. Join Anna (Lauren Nicole Chapman), Kristoph (Dominic Dorset), Olaf (Jeremy Davis), and Sven (Collin Baja/Dan Plehal) on their journey to find Elsa (Caroline Bowman) and restore balance to the kingdom. The show is pure Broadway joy for new and old fans alike.

2. Get your summer playlist ready with some of Disney’s catchiest tunes.

…or at least that’s what Olaf plans to do. Hit songs from the original animated movie like “In Summer,” “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?, and the Academy Award-winning showstopper “Let It Go all make a reprisal in the stage adaptation. They are also joined by new, fantastic songs written by Oscar winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT winner Robert Lopez. This show is perfect to sing along with your family and friends (or hum for you more secretive FROZEN fans).

3. Make memories with those that you love the most.
