Ron Biscardi co-founded Context Capital Partners, a seeding firm focused on Alternative Investment Strategies. Mr. Biscardi led the effort to create the Context BH Equity family of funds in 2006. These funds invest in top tier community banks throughout the country. Today, Mr. Biscardi serves as chairman of Context BH Equity Funds I & II. Mr. Biscardi also spearheaded the firm's initial entry into hedge fund seeding through its strategic investment in Betzwood Partners, LP, a market neutral, long/short telecom, media and technology fund.
In June of 2012, Context seeded and launched a hedge fund version of its bank strategy, Context BH Partners, LP. In addition, Mr. Biscardi sits on the investment committee of the Titan Loan Investment Fund. Titan, with $105 million in assets, invests in distressed commercial real estate loans in the Eastern half of the United States. Mr. Biscardi also serves on the Board of the Accord Family Office, and is founder and chairman of Xelerate, LLC, a middle market outsourcer of recruiting and human resource services that features unique customization of the hiring process from screening through post-employment support.
Along with his position on the Board of Directors at the Kimmel Center, Mr. Biscardi is Secretary of the Mastery Charter SchoolÕs Board of Trustees.
