Richard M. Klein

Dr. Klein was President and CEO of Sybron Chemicals Inc., a public international specialty chemical manufacturer, and its predecessor companies from 1978 to 2001. Prior to that, he was an executive in the Sybron Chemicals organization, after working six years with the Rohm and Haas Company in Philadelphia and overseas. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturers Association (SOCMA), is a director of Mannington Mills Inc. (Salem, NJ), serves as a Monitor Trustee for the Federal Trade Commission, is on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Mann Music Center and the Kimmel Center, and was Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.

Dr. Klein holds a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Illinois, and a B.A. from Williams College.
