Spencer M. Wertheimer

Spencer M. Wertheimer is a partner in the law firm Kogan, Trichon & Wertheimer specializing in intellectual property and trial law. He represented the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority in several cases dealing with civil right and various “right to know” litigation in the United States Supreme Court. Chairman of the Philadelphia Dance Company, he was also the Chairman of the Mayor’s Arts and Culture Advisory Council from 1991-1999. He is a voting member of the National Association for Recording Artists and was Vice Chairman of both the Philadelphia Music Alliance and the Philadelphia Art Alliance. He is a graduate of Dickinson College and the University of Pennsylvania.

Wertheimer is also a Playwright having authored five produced plays having won the Harold Kohn Award. He has plays produced in New York City, Philadelphia’s Annenberg Center and at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.
