The Orchestra plans to build new 3,000-seat Concert Hall.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Association approves a resolution to build a new 3,000-seat concert hall, and selects Russell Johnson of Artec Consultants, Inc. as project acoustician and Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown as project architects.
