Development Internship

The Development intern will work in administrative functions within the Development Department while providing them with meaningful experience in all areas of development that will broaden the scope of their abilities and be an asset to them in their careers. They will gain firsthand experience promoting performances and events at the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music, interacting with members of the Philadelphia community and working alongside the professional staff of a major non-profit performing arts organization. Interns assist with many fundraising activities including membership fulfillment, major gift donations, grants and sponsorships by corporations and foundations, planned giving, prospect research, donor relations, and special events.

This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
