Throughout their legendary five-decade career, The Chieftains have won six Grammy Awards and earned 18 nominations. One of Ireland's favorite exports, the band is led by Paddy Moloney, master of the pipes and tin whistle, with Matt Molloy on flute and Kevin Conneff on bodhran drum. The Chieftains have compiled an astounding resume—collaborating with the Rolling Stones, The Decemberists, Bon Iver, and Ziggy Marley— and have popularized Irish music across the globe.
