Dvorak: Carnival Overture
Haydn: Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major
Bruckner: Symphony No. 4 'Romantic'

Join Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) as the orchestra presents the first of two concerts at the Kimmel Center in celebration of its 73rd Anniversary Season. Led by Maestro Louis Scaglione, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra will perform Dvorak's Carnival Overture, a work that profoundly exudes Slavonic dance and celebration, yet one that seems to weep with joy and melancholy. Gloria dePasquale, distinguished cellist with The Philadelphia Orchestra, will join the PYO in a performance of one of the most popular concerti of Franz Joseph Haydn. The orchestra will then perform Bruckner's 'Romantic' symphony, his Symphony No. 4, which represents one of Bruckner's most profound symphonic masterpieces.

Ticket Prices: $20 - $10
