Philadelphia Young Playwrights steers a multigenerational journey that careens through then, now and next. Boundaries blur, the audience takes part and histories revise in the doing.
Time Machine is a Philadelphia Young Playwrights (PYP) yearlong playwriting and multigenerational collaboration, launching in summer 2012 and culminating in a featured production as part of PIFA 2013 - bringing together master teaching artists, emerging artists, university students and high school juniors and seniors to create an original theatre piece through a process steeped in ensemble creation, mutual learning, and mentoring.
This project is funded by the CHG Charitable Trust, the National Endowment of the Arts, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and The Wyncote Foundation.
This event is part of PIFA 2013. Visit PIFA.org for a complete listing of events.
There is an 8-ticket limit per patron, per production on individual tickets.
All artists and programs subject to change.
