Within two years of formation, the Eric Whitacre Singers have established themselves as one of the finest professional choirs of our day. They have received exceptional and unanimous praise from critics and won a GRAMMY® for Best Choral Performance in 2012 for their debut album, Light & Gold. Their second album, Water Night, went straight to no. 1 in the classical iTunes chart on the day of release and also features the London Symphony Orchestra, Hila Plitmann and Julian Lloyd Webber. Eric and the Eric Whitacre Singers have performed on national TV, live from the Royal Albert Hall and regularly record in Abbey Road Studio 1. This programme will include some of Whitacre's own works, Lauridsen and Bach as well as much-loved American classics, drawing in audiences of all age ranges and tastes.
