For over 50 years, the touring program of Vermont's prestigious Marlboro Music Festival has introduced audiences to fresh new talent through inventive programming that pairs familiar masterworks with lesser-known gems. Marlboro's artistic director Mitsuko Uchida hand-selects the most exciting artists to introduce to chamber music audiences throughout the country and pairs them with distinguished veteran musicians. This season, the third and final touring ensemble to perform with PCMS will feature exceptional young string players, in concert with a rising European virtuoso pianist and the first violinist of the esteemed Juilliard Quartet.
