Seinfeld Contest at the Kimmel Center!
Are you Master of your domain? Queen of the castle? Lord of the manor?
Give us your best 1 minute Seinfeld bit for a chance to win 4 tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Academy of Music. If you think you are Spongeworthy, then this is The Contest for you.
You can rant about saving the Pig-Man, argue with the Bubble Boy, give the eulogy at Susie's funeral, or discuss why it should be called "Roundteen." Just pick your favorite Seinfeld segment and let the cat out of the bag.
Between sets show-off your Seinfeld knowledge during our trivia challenge. Compete solo or in teams.
Still not sure this is worth your while? There is also a Seinfeld character look-alike contest. So come to the Kimmel Center on Tuesday, June 16, 6pm-7:15pm to get your Little Kicks. Sign-ups start at 5:15pm and only the first 75 people will get a chance to yada yada yada, so get there early or you can stuff your sorries in a sack, Mister.
Prizes:
- First Place: Master of Your Domain - 4 tickets to Jerry Seinfeld Friday, June 19, and dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House.
- Second Place: Spongeworthy - 4 tickets and a $50 gift certificate to Helium Comedy Club
- Third Place: Intern at Kramerica Industries - 2 tickets to Spring Awakening, Tuesday, June 23.
Details & Rules:
- Prepare 1 minute (60 seconds) of your favorite Seinfeld bit (from his stand-up or the TV show).
- The bits may be performed by 1 person or up to 4 people.
- Content must be PG13.
- Sign-ups start at 5:15pm in Commonwealth Plaza.
- The first 75 people to sign up get to perform.
- Kimmel Center reserves the right to interrupt your set at our discretion.
- Kimmel Center reserves the right to judge you based on dress, delivery, comedic timing and choice of material
- Please no low-talkers or high-talkers or close-talkers.
