"The best concert hall on the East Coast."
— Branford Marsalis

"Verizon Hall is fantastic. The sound is effortless."
— Daniel Barenboim

With Verizon Hall, the Perelman Theater and the Academy of Music, the world’s greatest performers now have a world-class arts center in Philadelphia. Our programming division, Kimmel Center Presents, welcomes favorite artists in a shimmering new setting and unfamiliar performers that lead audiences into new and unexpected artistic terrain. Our mission is to present programming on every stage with only one prerequisite: unsurpassed quality. Jazz, Broadway, great orchestras, recitals, dance, world music — these and other series showcase outstanding international talent seldom found in the region. It's the Vienna Philharmonic's return to Philadelphia after a decades-long absence, Lang Lang's Philadelphia recital debut and Ellis Marsalis and Sons making the Kimmel Center one of just five stops on their 2002 tour. Kimmel Center Presents performances dazzle seasoned audience members and inspire those new to the performing arts to experience more.

More than 150 Kimmel Center Presents performances a year — 250,000 audience members since opening
