Country music phenomenon Vince Gill takes to the Verizon Hall stage on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 8pm to perform classics from his three-decade career, as well as songs from his most recent album, These Days. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10am.

Tickets for An Evening with Vince Gill are $35 – 65 and can be purchased beginning Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10am by calling 215-893-1999, online at www.kimmelcenter.org, or at the Kimmel Center box office, open daily from 10am to 6pm and later on performance evenings. (Additional fees may apply.) For group sales call 215-790-5883.

A limited number of $10 community rush tickets will be available for this performance. Tickets go on sale the day of the event and can be purchased at the Kimmel Center box office beginning at 5:30pm prior to evening curtain time. Limit one ticket per person.

Vince Gill has been awarded 19 Grammy® Awards—more than any other male country artist. His numerous hits include “Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away,” “One More Last Chance” and “Pretty Little Adriana.” With more than 28 million albums sold and 18 Country Music Association Awards, Gill is second only to Brooks and Dunn for having earned the most CMA Awards in history. In August 2007, the Country Music Association inducted Gill as the newest member of the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame. In November 2009, Gill performed at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards with rock outfit Daughtry.

Free at the Kimmel programming and subsidized tickets offered to the community and social service groups for $10 are made possible through the Wachovia Gateway to the Arts Community Access Program, supported by a generous grant from the Wachovia Foundation.

The Kimmel Center is a recipient of partnership funding through the nationally recognized PNC “Grow Up Great” initiative, a ten-year, $100 million investment preparing children for success in school and life. Funding gives support to the Kimmel Center’s early childhood program “Bop and Swing,” an arts program for children 1-5 years old, designed to promote an appreciation for American culture.
