Bash the Trash: African Folktales

Saturday, February 18, 11 a.m. to noon

Bash the Trash builds, performs and educates with musical instruments made from recycled and reused materials. In this show we'll present our own "trashy" take on folk tales from Africa, with instruments inspired by designs from across the continent. We'll spin tales of Anansi - the trickster who turns into a spider - and how he became the owner of all the stories…and of course everyone will build a musical instrument and take it home!  bashthetrash.com
