Tickets Now on Sale!
Food Network culinary star Guy Fieri brings his panache for food to Philadelphia with Road Show, a food-a-palooza mixing live cooking demonstrations with rock 'n' roll music at the Merriam Theater on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 7:30pm.
Modeled after a high energy rock concert, the 21-city tour of Road Show demystifies kitchen etiquette with presentations in concert venues. The two-hour cooking feat includes Fieri sharing cooking secrets from his forthcoming cookbook, More Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: A Drop Top Culinary Cruise Through America's Finest and Funkiest Joints, scheduled for release on November 3rd.
Australia-based flair bartender Hayden "Woody" Wood, an effervescent entertainer and author of The Liquid Kitchen, will serve as the opening act. A local celebrated chef will be featured as a special guest, and then Fieri will take center stage with an unscripted and wildly entertaining performance, complete with interactive cooking stations, demonstrations, behind the scenes stories from the road and more.
"We've been test-driving this concept on a smaller scale and the adrenaline of the crowd is through the roof," explains Fieri. "Putting on a show for my fans that marries food and rock-n-roll with blow-your-mind entertainment is a dream come true."
A limited number of VIP tickets will be available in two package levels: The "Off Da Hook" VIP package for $250 is SOLD OUT. The "Kulinary Krew" package for $150 includes prime orchestra seating; tour laminate; new edition of More Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: A Drop Top Culinary Cruise through America's Finest and Funkiest Joints; two squirt bottles; and a pre-show meet and greet with Guy Fieri.
