For 32 years Jeffrey Siegel has been presenting Keyboard Conversations® to thousands of enthusiastic concert goers in eighteen countries and across the United States. As Siegel continues to provide educational and entertaining performances, his audience becomes more knowledgeable of the music geniuses of the past before hearing a piece in its entirety. His pre-performance conversation which combines history and humor is enjoyed by both classical music newcomers and connoisseurs.
Admired as a distinguished pianist, Siegel has been a soloist with some of the world’s great orchestras including: the Berlin Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, all the major London orchestras, Bayerischer Rundfunk (Munich), Oslo Philharmonic, Stockholm Philharmonic, The Hague Residentie Orkfest, Orchestra of La Scala and the NHK Symphony of Japan. Performances with U.S. orchestras include The Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Jeffrey Siegel has appeared as a conductor with the Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and Saint Louis Symphony Orchestras, The Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as various orchestras abroad. Siegel also recorded Gershwin’s complete works for piano and orchestra with Leonard Slatkin and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
A limited number of $10 tickets are available for every Kimmel Center Presents performance at the Kimmel Center. Tickets go on sale the day of the event and can be purchased at the Kimmel Center box office beginning 2.5 hours prior to evening performances and 11:30am for matinees.
