The Cleveland Plain Dealer praised the “charming voices perfect for distinctive Irish music” (7/23/05) in CELTIC WOMAN, which features 5 beautiful performers; 4 gifted vocalists – Chloë, Lisa, Deirdre and Orla — and Máiréad, a brilliant fiddler. The group has made a tremendous impression on US audiences, quickly selling out shows at major venues such as Carnegie Hall over the past year. With diverse crowds of all ages rushing to buy tickets in the 33 cities on their Winter/Spring 2006 tour, CELTIC WOMAN is fast becoming a touring phenomenon.

CELTIC WOMAN ushers Celtic music into the 21st century, putting a distinctively Gaelic twist on ethereal contemporary songs (Enya’s “Orinoco Flow,” “May It Be,” the theme from “Lord of the Rings”) and timeless classics (“Ave Maria,” “Somewhere,”) a modern flair on traditional Irish songs (“She Moved Thru’ the Fair,”) and their own personal stamp on spellbinding original songs (“The Voice,” “Send Me A Song,”) all with exciting new arrangements

CELTIC WOMAN (Manhattan Records/EMI) also continues to dominate the Billboard world music charts, holding the #1 spot for over 43 weeks and continues to maintain a presence on the Top 200 chart since its release on March 1, 2005. More information can be found at www.celticwoman.com
