Garces at the Kimmel Center

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to welcome Chef Jose Garces. Beginning June 1, 2012 Garces Catering will provide all catering and concessions across our campus. In 2010, Garces won Food Network’s The Next Iron Chef, making him one of a few chefs in the country to hold the prestigious title of Iron Chef America.

Chef Garces will bring his innovative and popular culinary techniques to the Kimmel Center, Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. Patrons can pair world-class performing arts experiences with cocktails and snacks prepared by Garces’ team of experienced and artful chefs. Garces concessions will be available to guests at the PECO Bar, the PECO Annex Bar, and satellite bars at the Academy of Music and the Merriam Theater.

Garces Catering will provide a full-service event planning division that designs everything from the perfect office luncheon to an elegant rooftop wedding. A new showcase for the renowned talent of Chef Jose Garces, Garces Catering allows him to bring his bold flavors and artful techniques out of the restaurant and directly to guests.
