Victor has been a practicing attorney for over 40 years, the last decade of which was as the chair of the tax practice group at Duane Morris LLP. He is currently “of counsel” at Duane Morris.
Since branching out from the full-time practice of law, Victor has become CEO of a company in the 3D-display field; co-founder of Bantam Pharmaceutical, a start-up company in the oncology space; and co-owner and co-manager of a portfolio of commercial rental real estate located in New York, New Jersey, Utah, and California.
In addition to his Kimmel Center board service, Victor contributes to the Philadelphia cultural community through, among other things, board memberships with The Philadelphia Theatre Company, The Philadelphia Film Society, and PlayPenn, Inc. (which nurtures new play development). Victor is also a co-founder and board member of The Performance Garage (which provides rehearsal and performance space for emerging Philadelphia dance companies).
Victor’s other interests include assembling over many years an extensive collection of “outsider art” and vintage radios and toys, currently housed in a repurposed 19th century Philadelphia Quaker church now known as The Bethany Mission Gallery (bethanymissiongallery.org).
Victor left his hometown of Pueblo, Colorado in 1959 to attend Trinity College (Hartford, CN) and then Harvard Law School.
Victor is married to Jeanne Ruddy, former Martha Graham Dance Company Principal Dancer, former Juilliard Dance faculty member, founder of Jeanne Ruddy Dance Company (2000-2012), and co-founder with Victor of The Performance Garage.
