THE WORLD’S NAUGHTIEST MAGIC SPECTACLE,

THE NAKED MAGIC SHOW,

COMES TO THE MERRIAM THEATER

 MAY 6, 2016

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, April 27, 2016) –– Following sold-out shows and rave reviews around the world, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in association with The Works Entertainment, presents the world’s most bold and cheeky magic spectacle, The Naked Magic Show, at the Merriam Theater for two performances on May 6 (7:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.). This boisterous R-rated magic show strips away the top hats and capes and proves that good magicians don’t need sleeves… or even pants.

“Everyone loves the art of magic and this show presents those same tricks we love as never seen before,” said Anne Ewers, President & CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “While performing mesmerizing tricks, these handsome men prove that their magic knows no bounds, nor dress code.”

The Naked Magic Show features magic, mirth, and more than a touch of mayhem as these two hot and hilarious magicians say “abracadabra” and take magic to a whole new level. Left without sleeves or pockets, their saucy magic is baffling and entertaining, bringing a new meaning to “now you see it.”

The show stars co-creators Christopher Wayne and Mike Tyler. Christopher – originally named the “clothed” magician on long-running kids TV program “Toasted TV” – became the first Australian magician in TV history to have his own series, “More than Magic.” Mike, who started off as a competitive swimmer, realized his dream of becoming an entertainer after attending University. His quick wit, modest ego and incredible sleight of hand skill make him the perfect partner for this raunchy, witty performance.
