Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, Anthony Bourdain, and Steve Martin and Martin Short bring upcoming tours to Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center Campus

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, May 9, 2016) –– The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts proudly announces the addition of three star-studded acts bringing their shows to the Kimmel Center campus in the coming months including renowned actors, comedic geniuses, and real-life couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally; Emmy Award winner and best-selling author Anthony Bourdain; and comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short. These five renowned personalities will be bringing a mix of humor, song, and culinary tales to Philadelphia with three widely anticipated programs.

“We are thrilled to add such an impressive roster of stars to our calendar in the coming months,” said Anne Ewers, President & CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “Each event showcases a breath of talent with these well-known celebrities and we cannot wait to welcome their fans to the Kimmel Center campus.”

Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, both best known for their iconic television comedy roles (Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation and Karen Walker on Will and Grace, respectively), are a real-life married couple. The Kimmel Center, in association with Live Nation Comedy, welcome the duo to the Merriam Theater stage on Saturday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. for Summer of 69 – No Apostrophe – an evening of comedy and music, featuring stories about their relationships, original songs about love, America, and everything in between. Bringing a little international flavor to the Academy of Music, renowned best-selling author, television host, and multiple Emmy Award winner Anthony Bourdain will come to Philadelphia on Wednesday, October 26, part of The Hunger, an 11-city North American tour coinciding with the release of Appetites, his first cookbook in 10 years. The Hungerserves audiences an all new live show featuring an unyielding, brutally honest monologue reflecting on diverse culture, street cuisine, and his travels to lesser-known locations around the world, followed by a Q&A. Tickets on sale Friday, May 20.

Rounding out these incredible additions are legendary comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short who will be coming to Philadelphia for two performances, Friday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Academy of Music.
