Meet Linda, our fantastic E-Marketing intern! We asked her a few questions about herself and her internship here at the Kimmel Center.
What school do you attend? What is your major?
University of Pennsylvania. Art History major and Consumer Psychology minor.
Why did you choose to intern with the Kimmel Center?
I’ve always loved the art world and thought it would be great to apply my marketing skills to a creative environment. I wanted to develop my analytical skills and the description of this position fit perfectly into my goal.
Have you ever seen a show at the Kimmel Center, and if so, which one?
Not yet but I hope to do so soon!
Do you have a Kimmel Center “ah ha” moment?
When I was told that my recommendations to the website interface were going to be put into action!
What would you say to another student looking to intern here?
Be confident and apply. Tailor your resume to the position you are applying to and include statistics to show success whenever possible. Be very familiar with the details and outcome of your past experience.
What are your dreams post-graduation?
I hope to stay in the creative industry and be inspired constantly through my job. I would love to interact, learn and grow with living artists.
Tell us a few fun facts about yourself.
I love everything matcha (green tea) flavored but not necessarily drinking it.
My not-so-realistic dream jobs include visual artist, DJ, fashion designer and actress.
