We’re thrilled to pass along a special story from Greenfield Elementary School, where a donation from the Kimmel Center is making a difference for some very special students.
Jacqueline Serra, Greenfield’s Autistic & Special Needs teacher, had a vision for a sensory room for her students to escape from pressures of outside stresses and stimuli. Through ticket donations from the Kimmel Center, the school was able to raise enough funds to plan a complete redesign of a classroom.
The redesign will begin soon, but for now, here are some “Before” photos.
