Prepare to fall off your chair with laughter! 

 

The Kimmel Center will be welcoming a star-studded comedy lineup all season long, starting this fall. Our lineup features more than comedic genius alone, including storytelling, musicals, and much more you won’t wanna miss.  

 

November starts off with bearded Nick Offerman joining us for his Full Bush Tour.

He tells a collection of stories about survival in the wild and living enthusiastically (which everyone could use more of!)

 

Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science Tour

Whether you’re a major foodie or nowhere near professional chef status, join us at Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science Tour.  Returning to the Kimmel Center, Brown is combining food, comedy, and science to cook up one awesome show! Make sure to have your phone handy to send him recommendations of Philly’s best eats by tweeting with #ABRoadEatsPhilly.

 

Mike Birbiglia's The New One

 

A combination of comedy and storytelling, don’t miss The New One. It’s sure to be the best one!

Closing the November lineup is comedian and actor Mike Birbiglia.  You may know him from movies like Trainwreck and The Fault in Our Stars, as well as his New York Times bestseller Sleepwalk with Me and Other Painfully True Stories

If you’re a fan of SNL, odds are you know Emmy Award-winning writer and comedian John Mulaney!   Here in December with his Kid Gorgeous tour, John most recently starred in Oh, Hello on Broadway and Netflix special The Comeback Kid

Set in the 1590s, this Broadway smash hit tells the story of two brothers who are desperate to write their own hit play.  When they learn future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting all at once, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. Capitol Steps: Orange is the New Barack

 

This Washington D.C. act has appeared on The Today Show, Nightline, Entertainment Tonight, and numerous NPR specials. Performing their newest songs and skits from Orange is the New Barack in April, this satirical album pokes fun at all sides of the issues.

 

An Evening with Jay Leno

 

 

Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno’s new standup tour, An Evening with Jay Leno, comes to the Kimmel Center next May.  Along with comedy, Leno is a children’s book author, corporate speaker, TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist. No wonder he has so much to share!
