28 year old Colombian native Luke O'Reilly is no stranger to the jam session. Throughout his career his love for jazz has elevated him to be one of the few consistently in demand jazz pianists in the Philadelphia area. Every Monday O'Reilly hosts ‘Back in Time Soul Sessions’ at Time Restaurant in Center City – and now you can see him on the live on the Plaza Stage as the Kimmel Center brings back the classic jam session at Sittin’ In. Don’t miss this noted celebrity host as he orchestrates the house band, community musicians, and more.

Sittin’ In is an eclectic mix of cross-genre grooves meet horns, vinyl, and vocals. Each month we’ll bring you a different session hosted by a special guest, alongside his/her band of choice. The first set will feature the host and is followed by a second set showcasing selected talent from near and far. This series is curated by acclaimed jazz bassist Anthony Tidd, Director of the Kimmel Center’s Creative Music Program.
