Grow Up Great introduces kids to the vibrant world of jazz, from New Orleans brass bands and the rhythms of Congo Square to The Great American Songbook and Swing! Each month, Philly’s own trumpeter Josh Lawrence showcases new songs with a band of musicians and makes jazz fun for all ages!
The Kimmel Center is the recipient of partnership funding through the nationally recognized PNC "Grow Up Great" program, a $350 million, multi-year initiative to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life. Grow Up Great programs are held monthly in Commonwealth Plaza.
