Astral and Symphony in C team up to celebrate the great wealth and diversity of musical output by composers with ties to our city. Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto is a cornerstone of the repertoire, and the festive program also spotlights Astral artists as soloists in rich and colorful works by Melinda Wagner, Michael Djupstrom, and Venezuelan-born Efraín Amaya.
