Here & Now Hip Hop Forum is FREE and open to the public and will cover a vast breadth and depth of artistic insight into the Hip Hop culture and performative arts for artists who are thinking about a career in Hip Hop dance and art forms.

Funkamentals teaches social and current trends in hip hop dances inspired by the hood. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class start to warm-up.
Circul8: Cypher Codes & Conversational Modes
This Funkamental Session intends to explore Funkamental body language, mechanics and spiritual modes present in the wireless transmission of movement ideas between Hood Hop/Street Dance practitioners. Participants will be introduced to collective creation and circulation movement methods. Cypher participants will also develop phrases/combos as a means to explore the concept of collective individuality, musicality/beat freakin’, voice/personal aesthetic and collective aesthetic. Every Funkamental session is primarily focused on community building. Come willing to raise your spirit and drop it like it’s hot!
