Vegetable-focused cuisine has become a veritable revolution in restaurants across the country, and Garces Trading Company’s Chef de Cuisine, Michael Jenkins, is on a mission to make vegetables delicious to everyone. And there is no better time of year to hold a vegetarian cooking class than summer - when there is an abundance of locally grown produce to choose from! Join Chef Jenkins for a menu of plant-based dishes including: Insalata di Funghi - raw, cooked, and quick pickled mushrooms, red onion, arugula, lemon vinaigrette; Escalivada - Ember roasted vegetables, fresh mozzarella, grilled country bread; and Spaghetti aglio e olio with parsley, mint and Pecorino. This class is a veggie lover’s delight!
