The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia brings their 2017/18 season to a fabulous close with one of its most creative and inclusive programs ever presented. In collaboration with the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz, the Chamber Orchestra celebrates the 100th anniversary of many Philadelphia Jazz legends such as Dizzy Gillespieand John Coltrane. Adam Vidiksis, COP’s first Steven R. Gerber Composer-in-Residence creates a unique collaboration with jazz and classical musicians. If this concert couldn’t be more packed with the best and brightest, Mark O’Connor, internationally renowned Bluegrass violinist will present his own Old Brass.
