“Weilerstein is a consummate performer, combining technical precision with impassioned musicianship,” stated the MacArthur Foundation upon awarding Alisa Weilerstein a 2011 MacArthur Fellowship. Her debut performance with PCMS in 2010 received rave reviews from audience members and critics alike. Returning to the Perelman Theater with her frequent collaborator, Inon Barnatan, she presents a program that will highlight her breathtaking technique as well as the passion that makes her one of today’s most exciting artists. Barnatan too is a true poet: re ned, searching, and unfailingly communicative at the keyboard.
