Dirk Brosse, Conductor | Simon Shaheen, Oud

Simon Shaheen makes his Chamber Orchestra debut under the baton of Maestro Dirk Brossé in a concert of Middle Eastern influence. A prominent Oud player of Western and Middle Eastern influence, Shaheen brings his own Fantasie for Strings and Oud alongside Saint-Saens breathtaking “Bacchanale”from Samson and Delilah newly orchestrated for Chamber Orchestra by COP/ACF’s Steven R. Gerber Composer-in-Residence Andrea Clearfield. Brossé, Shaheen, and Clearfield, an amazing end to our season celebration of the human spirit.
