Overview

Philadelphia Women in Film and Television (PWIFT) in partnership with Circadium, celebrate female filmmakers and the 225th anniversary of the American Circus––launched right here in Philadelphia.

Join us for a family friendly, magical evening of live circus arts and the Philadelphia Premiere of two award-winning films: The Great Flip-Off, from Director Dafna Yachin and Live Your Light, a short film by Director Jendra Jarnagin.

Then extend the festivities and join our Ringmistress for the ultimate After-Party at Volver Restaurant with live circus artists, drinks, small plates, and even more entertainment.

About the films:
The Great Flip-Off, Facing extinction from the American circus, the last extreme bareback riders, along with their majestic horses, unite for one final death-defying performance.
Feature Documentary, 87 minutes:

Live your Light, Poetically profiles eight unique professional performers from the Bushwick Brooklyn circus arts collaborative called “House of Yes” as they perform for the camera in this stylized dance film. Short: 5 minutes
