Overview

Take Me to the Piano is a multi-disciplinary collaboration between instrumental jazz group Outside Sound, and the Center for Creative Works (CCW), a vocational arts center for adults with developmental disabilities.

Through 8 weekly workshops with the artists, an original work was born that includes spoken word, visual projections of artwork, instrumental performance and other creative concepts to create a one of a kind performance. Through this exchange, Outside Sound plans to deepen their practice of inclusive music-making by discovering new ways to exchange musically with the CCW community.
