Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67

Missa Solemnis in D Major, Op. 123

This program celebrating Beethoven’s 250th anniversary year will feature two monumental works: Symphony No. 5 in C minor and the Missa Solemnis, both considered among his supreme achievements. The Symphony No. 5 is one of the best-known compositions in classical repertoire and is widely considered one of the cornerstones of Western music. This performance of the Fifth Symphony marks a premiere in VoxAmadeus programming. The Missa Solemnis, featuring a stellar cast of soloists with chorus and orchestra, completes a truly unique, uplifting and exciting program.
