Overview

Celebrate 60 years of the Organ Historical Society and 10 years of the Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ. This program contains the premier performance of Kurt Knecht’s Toccata - Adagio – Fugue for Organ and Percussion. Listen to the timpani, toms, snare drum, bongos and marimba infuse this piece with ecstatic celebration and longing. The second half of the program features The Organ as Crystal Ball. Watch images from Shakespeare’s Hamlet come to life with actors, recitation, dance, and organ.
