This month, prepare your kids for a fun musical adventure involving learning music from the African American experience, including rhythms of the African diaspora, gospel traditions, and jazz! The Kendrah Butler Trio invites you to explore with instruments, dance, sing, shake and move!
Kendrah Butler is a notable musical director, working with directing shows and performing for the Philadelphia Jazz Project, the Philadelphia Clef Club, various jazz groups in and around Philadelphia, as well as her own jazz groups.
The Kimmel Center is the recipient of partnership funding through the nationally recognized PNC "Grow Up Great" program, a $350 million, multi-year initiative to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life. Grow Up Great programs are held monthly in Commonwealth Plaza.
