RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES

AS THEY BRING THE GREATEST HITS TO LIFE

MARCH 13 – 15, 2020 AT THE MERRIAM THEATER

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, February 12, 2020) – The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus presents RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES with The Best of Abbey Road Live! In celebration of the anniversary of the release of Abbey RoadRAIN will bring the greatest hits to life in addition to all your early favorites. The celebration begins on Friday, March 13, 2020 and continues through Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus’ Merriam Theater.

“Our Cultural Campus provides opportunities for everyone, from up-and-coming artists to musicians who have enjoyed storied careers and are known worldwide,” said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “And the opportunity to enjoy the music of a group, live in concert, after its dissolvement is rare. Therefore, we are thrilled to bring this quintessential tribute program back for Philadelphians, with an all-new tribute to the iconic Abbey Road.”

This mind-blowing performance takes you back in time with the legendary foursome delivering a note-for-note theatrical event that is “the next best thing to seeing The Beatles!” (Associated Press). In addition to the updated sets that include state of the art LED, high-definition screens, and multimedia content, RAIN will bring the Abbey Road album to life with the launch of the 2019 Tour.

Together longer than The Beatles, RAINhas mastered every song, gesture, and nuance of the legendary foursome, delivering a totally live, note-for-note performance that’s as infectious as it is transporting. Let RAIN take you back with all of the greatest hits along with all of your other Beatles favorites! This adoring tribute will take you back to a time when all you needed was love, and a little help from your friends! Like The Beatles, the onstage members of RAINare not only supreme musicians, but electrifying performers in their own right.
