WILD KRATTS LIVE! HIT PBS KIDS SHOW COMES ALIVE ON STAGE FOR A RETURN ENGAGEMENT ON THE KIMMEL CENTER CULTURAL CAMPUS APRIL 22, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (Philadelphia, PA, February 22, 2018) –– The wildly popular PBS KIDS® television show Wild Kratts is coming to the live stage. Wild Kratts LIVE! will be at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts’ Merriam Theater on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Animated Kratt brothers, Martin and Chris, come to real life in a classically Wild Kratts story.  In their new show, To the Creature Rescue!, the Emmy nominated Kratt brothers activate some fan favorite Creature Power Suits to confront a comic villain. Through hilarious pratfalls and amazing animal ‘wow facts’, the Wild Kratts team rescues their favorite invention from Zach’s clutches so the animals of the creature world are safe once again.

“It is absolutely wonderful to watch the Wild Kratt brothers share their love of animals and science with children, both on PBS and live on-stage,” said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.  “After successful sold out performances last season, it is a delight to welcome the return of this dynamic duo to educate and entertain.”

Wild Kratts LIVE! is created for the stage by the imaginative minds of Martin Kratt and Chris Kratt from  Zooboomafoo, Kratt’s Creatures, and Be the Creature. The Kratt Brothers’ national tours draw tens of thousands of creature-crazy kids and their families and the not-for-profit Kratt Brothers Creature Hero Society, together with kids, has successfully protected critical wildlife habitats through the creation of nature reserves.

Other featured upcoming performances at the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus include: Bubble Guppies Live! Ready to Rock (March 17, 2018, Merriam Theater), School of Rock (March 27-April 1, 2018, Academy of Music), The Sound of Music (April 24-29, 2018, Merriam Theater), and Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure (May 4-6, 2018, Merriam Theater).
