panel provides insight for those interested in pursuing careers in the

music and film businesses

 

WHAT:        The Kimmel Center presents the third, and final installment in the FREE seminar series, “Business of Making Music.” Presented in partnership with The Recording Academy® (Philadelphia Chapter), the series provides attendees with the invaluable opportunity to hear from a distinguished panel of experts to provide real-world insights on how to translate their experience to a career in the music and film businesses. The panel, taking place in the Merck Gallery on December 8, will be moderated by Emmy-winning Director Rodney Whittenberg and will include award-winning filmmaker Anthony Fletcher, music publishing executive Michael Kealey, entertainment attorney Lori Landew, and producer/composer Elizabeth Phillipson-Weiner. In addition to the panel discussion, attendees will be able to network with local artists and professionals following the Q&A.
