Group Dining Near the Kimmel Center

Looking for a place to eat during your evening at the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, or the Miller Theater? Here are some of the nearby places you can go for great food that will accommodate larger groups. Head to one of these local eateries for a meal that will satisfy everyone.

Estia - At 1405 Locust Street

Enjoy authentic Greek Mediterranean dishes and first-rate wines at Estia, located just across the street from the Academy of Music. Their variety of private party rooms can suit groups ranging from just 6 people to 180 guests, featuring a wonderful bar and lounge area.

McGillin’s Old Ale House – At 1310 Drury Street

Not too far away from the Miller Theater is McGillin’s Old Ale House. As the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia, McGillin’s has had plenty of time to develop a spectacular, solid menu. You’ll find lots of space to seat your whole group, and you can even reserve space for a private party for extra-large groups.

Fogo de Chão – At 1337 Chestnut Street

This Brazilian Steakhouse’s Center City location is in Philadelphia’s historic Caldwell’s Jewelry Building. Enjoy a chandelier lit meal in Fogo’s gorgeous dining rooms. Take a look at their menu, which includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, to see if Fogo is the right place for your group, as larger groups can be seated semi privately in the main dining room or in a reservable private space.

The Shops at Liberty Place Food Court – At 1625 Chestnut Street

Liberty Place has many great options within it, and its food court is no exception. With lots of amazing choices, members of your group can decide individually where they want to get food. And maybe you can do a bit of shopping while you’re there.

Maggiano’s Little Italy – At 1201 Filbert Street

Maggiano’s Little Italy is another great option for bigger groups, with large banquet spaces available to accommodate up to 300 guests for any meal when you book for an event. Their extensive menu offers a variety of choices, so check it out and see if Maggiano’s is the right place for your group when you visit us.

Monster Vegan - At 1229 Spruce St

Looking for a scarily good experience? Monster Vegan is a monster-themed vegan restaurant, with reservations available for groups of up to 20 people. Here you won’t just find great food, but also a fun, spooky atmosphere, and, sometimes, a screening of a classic horror film.

Misconduct Tavern - At 1511 Locust St

Not far from Ensemble Arts Philly is the Misconduct Tavern. Here you can make a reservation for a private event- with room for up to 200 people. At this nautical themed bar, you will find sophisticated bar food spun into a mouthwatering meal.

Looking for Mexican food? Mission Taqueria is a great place to go! With reservations available for up to 11 people, and event booking for groups even larger than that, you’ll find a place here for your whole group to enjoy delicious margaritas and nachos!

Continental Midtown - 1801 Chestnut St

For a relaxing night, make your way to Continental Midtown, to enjoy the lounge, swing in a basket chair, or appreciate the night on the rooftop patio. Their website includes a spot to make a reservation for 20 guests or a larger party, as well as an email to reach out to for inquiries about larger group dining.

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks - 1 S Broad St, Philadelphia

M&S Seafood Restaurant offers private and semi-private spaces to accommodate both large and smaller groups. Their flexible selection will allow you to plan an event with a setup and menu that will suit your group's needs and leave all satisfied.

&Pizza - 213 S 15th St

Looking to see a show with a few college friends and need a place to grab a quick bite on a low budget? There’s a variety of pizza places near Ensemble Arts Philly, including &Pizza. Everyone in your group can get the kind of pizza they’re looking for and then enjoy the meal in the open seating.

 

These next few eateries are a bit more of a walk from our location, but if your group can make their way to one of these excellent places, they will not disappoint.

Positano Coast – At 212 Walnut Street

Take your food to the open air in Positano Coast’s second floor patio space or enjoy it indoors instead. Explore their large group option and menu and decide if you want to make your way to this gorgeous establishment for your meal.

Campo’s Philly Cheesesteaks – At 214 Market Street

At this family-owned restaurant you’ll find the famous traditional Philly Cheesesteak, and other Philadelphia favorites. Campo’s also offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten options- and a kid’s menu. There is something great for everyone here- just make sure you save room for dessert, namely homemade cannoli or a slice of cheesecake.

 

Making a full day out of your trip to Philly? These options aren’t very close to the Ensemble Arts Philly location, but if we are not your only stop, consider making your way to one of these choices for a meal.

Yards Brewing Company – At 500 Spring Garden Street

With two rooms to chose from, Yards Brewing Company can suit whatever event space you need. Choose The Garage, which can accommodate up to 55 guests cocktail style, for a laidback event with access to pool tables, darts, and TV. Or take a look at Upstairs at Yards, a larger private space which can accommodate up 120 people seated or 200 guests cocktail style.

Xfinity Live – At 1100 Pattison Avenue

Xfinity Live is located just a short walk away from some of Philly’s stadiums in South Philly. Catch one of our matinees and then head to a game for the evening. Xfinity Live has plenty of room for even the biggest of groups. Plan a private event to have a dinner party catered to what you are looking for from the variety of amenities and attractions Xfinity Live has to offer.
