Over June 3 and 4, our community joined together to build #ThePeoplesTower, an 88-ft. “Independence Hall” made entirely out of cardboard boxes & tape, in celebration of #PIFA2018!
The event celebrated the announcement that Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) returns May 31-June 10, 2018!
PIFA 2011 favorite Transe Express comes back to Philly with the World Premiere of their human chandelier performance “Crystal Palace,” to be performed every night of the Festival.
More than 200,000 audience members were mesmerized in 2011 as more 50 live performers were suspended spectacularly above the Avenue of the Arts:
