Stars on the cross-over scene, this young, dynamic string trio merges traditional, gypsy and jazz elements to form a style all its own. Returning to PCMS by popular demand for its first appearance with new violinist Charles Yang, the “classically-trained garage band” presents an eclectic, crowd-pleasing program that fuses music from Bach to Brahms with their own arrangements of bluegrass and folk tunes and ingenious mash-ups of contemporary popular hits.
