This Is Me: Loving the Person You Are Today will be published on March 27

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, March 12, 2018) –– This spring, join NBC’s This is Us star Chrissy Metz on her This Is Me book tour. It will be an evening of honest conversation, moderated by NBC10’s Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter, Jacqueline London. The conversation will be about life and its lessons – featuring real advice, tough love, and shared moments of are-you-kidding-me, I-wish-I-was laughter, taken from the pages of Chrissy’s forthcoming memoir This Is Me: Loving the Person You Are Today. Chrissy will share the struggles and triumphs of her life, and invites you to join her on a journey not just of self-acceptance, but of embracing the lives we want and deserve. Chrissy Metz will appear at the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater on Monday, March 26 at 8:00 p.m. as part of her This Is Me book tour.

When This Is Us first debuted, viewers embraced a show that celebrates human connection and the power of family. The critically acclaimed NBC series is now beloved and viewers overwhelmingly relate to the humor, depth, and vibrancy Chrissy Metz brings to playing Kate Pearson.

 

Chrissy plays Kate, a woman struggling with her weight, eating habits, and body image.  ET named her as one of six "breakout stars you will fall in love with this fall."  People Magazine named her to the "One's to Watch."  Chrissy is best known for her roles in American Horror Story: Freak ShowLoveless in Los AngelesSolving CharlieMy Name is Earl, and Entourage, to name a few.
